If you need a number longer than a short verification window, 5SIM’s support excludes it; HeroSMS’s current rules refer to longer-term purchases, but the live duration and inventory still need checking.

No SMS: understand where money goes
HeroSMS says its 20-minute activation may be cancelled after two minutes when no code has arrived, with return to account balance; no-code expiry at 20 minutes also returns balance automatically under its rules. It applies a different cancellation limit to longer-term purchases. 5SIM’s terms say cancelled or uncompleted orders return to virtual balance within 15 minutes; completed orders are not treated the same way.
Neither statement means a deposit returns automatically to your bank or crypto wallet. HeroSMS has separate withdrawal rules; 5SIM has a separate balance refund policy. Read those before topping up, along with any minimum and payment method shown in the live account.
