Choose the alternative for the feature you actually need
For a familiar SMS-Activate-style setup, examine HeroSMS’s own transition information. HeroSMS describes a technology connection and API compatibility, but also says old accounts cannot transfer and new registration is required. Those are the provider’s statements; OTPAtlas does not claim to be SMS-Activate’s successor.

Replacing SMS-Activate for US, UK or Canadian numbers
A replacement must sell a current offer for your actual receiving service and required country. Do not replace a missing UK number with a cheap US number unless the receiving app permits that origin. OTPAtlas keeps those country searches separate.
If you need Canada, select Canada explicitly; a +1 prefix is also used in the United States. If a service is not named in the directory, inspect Other for a supported offer without assuming every sender is eligible. A listed app or country is a starting point, not an acceptance promise.
